Alan D. Junkins is a commercial artist, a political cartoonist, and a family genealogist. He’s been an awarded scout leader, and ordained Presbyterian elder, and an art director in Philadelphia.
In 1990 Alan formed the The Junkins Family Association (JFA), a genealogical research and preservation organization dedicated to preserving the history of Scottish prisoner of war, Robert Junkins and his wife, Sarah Smyth and to collect and preserve genealogical records of the family.
The folders currently in the library number 30. There is a separate book library cataloging research books, journals, family bibles, school yearbooks, and histories.
